HOLISTIC CLINICAL NUTRITIONIST & PERSONAL TRAINER
Hi, my name is Jacinta Peronace & I am a qualified clinical nutritionist having completed my bachelor of health science in nutritional medicine and a certified personal trainer. I am registered with the Australian Natural Therapists Association. Clinical nutritionists are holistic & focus on the healing power of food and the dynamic relationships between all systems within our bodies. My role is to support and assist you in regaining control of your health and to educate you to maintain good health through providing you with the individual knowledge you need to understand how your body works and what it needs to flourish.
Consultations will individually assess your health in its entirety, looking at the whole picture through reviewing all health history, diet, lifestyle and other aspects of health to help you pursue an optimal healthy life.
Treatments will be individualised & include dietary & lifestyle advise and nutritional supplementation if required. As a personal trainer, I am also able to incorporate fitness goals within the consultation and provide complementary services. I’m extremely passionate about assisting people achieve optimal health, working in harmony with the mind & body to fulfil your needs.
Coming from a history of an eating disorder and body image issues, I enjoy helping individuals struggling through the same issues to better understand certain aspects of the illness and how to nutritionally support and eventually overcome the disorders. Through also suffering from Ulcerative Colitis (Inflammatory bowel disease), which actually led me to begin my journey into natural health and to study nutritional medicine, I am passionate about helping people rise through these issues and live healthier & more productive, happy lives, pain free.
All nutritional advice is underpinned by scientific evidence based research to ensure that all interventions are specifically supported by good quality evidence.
